[1] – The ICC Sanctioning Regulations can be viewed here. Under the current version of these regulations, ICC Full Members can approve and disapprove leagues in their country, while Associate Members can disapprove cricket in their country but require further approval from the ICC for leagues featuring 5 or more current full member international players after providing their own approval. There are limited protections for players included in these Regulations and they have not been approved by, or negotiated by, WCA.
