To be recognised and respected as the global representative body of all professional cricketers, past and present, around the world. To represent the views and interests of the collective of these cricketers, support our member playersâ associations, and make a positive contribution to the game.
WCA is the world playersâ body in cricket. Established (as FICA) in 1998, WCA is a democratic player-driven organisation that brings together the worldâs ‘organised’ professional cricketers under an international body which focuses on matters that affect the players collectively, and the global game. Players who are affiliated to WCA are, by extension, also guaranteed the support of the other players and playersâ associations in other countries. We care about:
Players:Â Advocating for, supporting, and providing world class services to players at global level
Playersâ Associations:Â Enabling and empowering players’ associations around the world
The Game:Â Positively influencing the direction of the global game
Optimising Commercial Value: for players and powering the player movement
The WCA exists for players and we are player-centric in everything we do. We work hard to be united, respected and valued by all players, our member playersâ associations, and cricketâs other key stakeholders. We believe in both inclusivity and diversity. We care about the game and strive to be thought leaders by being knowledgeable, positive, proactive and visible across all our activities.
