WCA have conducted a comprehensive review of all major domestic leagues to provide this resource, which is designed to better inform players, agents and players’ associations, raise league professionalism and improve the treatment of players in this landscape.
[1] - The ICC Sanctioning Regulations can be viewed here. Under the current version of these regulations, ICC Full Members can approve and disapprove leagues in their country, while Associate Members can disapprove cricket in their country but require further approval from the ICC for leagues after providing their own approval. There are limited protections for players included in these Regulations and they have not been approved by, or negotiated by, FICA.
